How We Help

Healcove coaches program and teach you how to meet desired goals like improving your current state of strength and fitness.

  • Inefficient movement patterns can lead to pain that stops you from enjoying any physical activity.

Healcove’s strength and conditioning team utilizes corrective exercises aimed at improving one's movement quality in foundational movements such as squatting, hinging, pulling, and pushing.

The approach is a combination of soft tissue manipulation, specific mobility-enhancing exercises, and isolated strengthening exercises for the often neglected muscles.

  • Building upon the foundation that was set in the Corrective Exercise stage, the primary focus of Strength & Conditioning is to introduce added external load (weight) to the primary movement patterns established previously (i.e., squatting, hinging, pulling, and pushing).

  • For those who are not experiencing any pain and want to be proactive to keep it that way, or those who simply want to improve their level of fitness, the Healcove strength and conditioning team offers a variety of different training styles to accommodate you:

› Return-to-Play: Perhaps you've sustained an injury and you're eager to return to your sport or hobby, but your injury is preventing you from doing so. Our expert strength team can intelligently prepare you for your return to action while most importantly minimizing the odds of re-injury.

› Hypertrophy Training: Research shows that after age 40, we lose muscle mass at an alarming rate. If maintaining your level of independence is important to you, Healcove's strength team can design a program specifically targeted to build muscle so that you can continue to do the things you love doing for years to come.

Sports Performance: For all of our athletes and self-proclaimed weekend warriors, our sports performance programs are created specifically to help you improve your performance, while most importantly minimizing the risk of injury.

  • Once you have laid a solid foundation of strength and addressed any muscular imbalances that may have been contributing to your pain, you are now in the driver's seat. By this point, we hope that you have grasped the importance of making physical fitness a regular part of your weekly routine.

The objective is to empower you to take the wheel of your own fitness journey, but we understand that this can be a daunting task. We have created an online platform where you will have a tailor made program created with your specific goals and injury history in mind.

You will have direct access to your own virtual coach to answer any questions you might have and help you overcome any obstacles you may face along the way.

Commonly Asked Questions

  • The most common response we hear from our clients as to what sets us apart from other clinics is that we create a safe, intimate, space for each client to pursue their best self.

The atmosphere at many gyms can be intimidating and Healcove was created with this in mind. During your training sessions, there will never be more than a handful of people present but more often you will have the entire space to yourself.

Another common response we hear is the collaboration amongst our staff. At Healcove, we put our egos on the back-burner because it's not about us— it's about you. If we don't have the answer, we elicit the assistance of our talented staff to ensure that you are receiving the best treatment possible.

Teaming up with our sports doctors, our strength coaches bridge the gaps between your pain restrictions, rehabilitation milestones, and total fitness reintegration.

  • We do not accept insurance for these services because insurance companies have created novel ways not to pay for services, requiring time consuming reporting which they can then deny claims, and many more loopholes limiting YOUR care.

  • If you have established care from our chiropractors, we can provide you a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) that you can submit to your HR department for eligibility approval.

  • In-Person

Some clients (re)gain their competence and confidence to train alone in as short as 10 sessions. Many choose to continue training with Healcove in-person after their initial program ends.

Schedule your initial assessment and coaching session to get a better idea of your needs.

    Virtual Program

We also offer a virtual strength training program to clients who have gained the competence and confidence to train alone, but choose to benefit from a personally tailored program designed by our coaches.
