Healcove Massage Approach

We combine techniques to ease discomfort, relax tense muscles, relieve stress, and improve sleep. Our job is to help press the reset button and get you back to feeling new, ready to face what lies ahead.

Sessions may include active release, neuromuscular therapy, deep tissue, assisted stretching and more.

  • Our wellness massage is designed for the frequently-stressed, the under-slept, soon-to-be-moms, new parents, frequent travelers, and the self-rewarding overachievers. We combine techniques to ease discomfort, relax tense muscles, relieve stress, and improve sleep.

  • Our orthopedic massage therapists are trained in rehabilitating soft-tissue injuries including surgery-induced tissue damage. Depending on your unique condition, your therapist will use one or more techniques that are aimed to speed your recovery. Techniques may include neuromuscular therapy, deep tissue massage, and active release. Orthopedic massage is typically prescribed by your doctor or our team.

  • While anyone with an active lifestyle can benefit from a sports massage, it’s essential for sports performance and longevity. Sports massage helps to prepare for activity, improve flexibility, increase range-of-motion, and decrease post-event muscle soreness. Techniques like deep tissue, active release technique (ART) and assisted stretching may be combined to achieve optimal result.

Commonly Asked Questions

  • It all depends on your unique situation. For wellness, most start with once a month and they adjust depending on their stress level. Some clients have specific orthopedic conditions that require frequent massage therapy. For sports massage, it’s beneficial to go as often as your therapist recommends according to your level of activity.

  • Massage therapy is natural medicine. Doctors recommend it because it’s what your body needs.

  • We do not accept insurance or Medicare for these services because insurance companies have created novel ways not to pay for services, requiring time consuming reporting which they can then deny claims, and many more loopholes limiting YOUR care.
